all u guys need 2 do is download not the beta version but download the original version(go to a ddl site like phazeddl.com and search)

what am i supposed to do now...?how can i get 11.
For those of you its not workings, rename the cracked legit file to LegitLibM.dll and then follow the instructions of replacing the orginal legit dll. It will work.

as opposed to legitlib.dll which is in the BETA - and the crack
First you have to download WMP11 from Microsoft.
To pass windows validation:
1. Right click on wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe and extract it to any folder
2. In folder you will seeWindowsXP-MSCompPackV1-x86.exe, wmp11.exe, wmfdist11.exe, umdf.exe and wmdbexport.exe install them
3. Reboot
4. Run any media player shortcut you have on your system...a screen will popup asking "express" or "custom"
5. Choose custom and its smooth sailing from there.
I did Those work and enjoying WMP11 features.
If u fail first time,try second time and install those with wmpappcompat.exe and reboot. It have to work. In the second time it doesn't take any extra space in your c: drive. So don't worry about it.

Same as above, extract WMP11 installer using WinRAR or PowerArchiver from wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe
In the extraction folder, install (run) wmp11.exe and then restart Windows.
Next, again in the extraction folder, install umdf.exe, wmdbexport.exe and wmfdist11.exe and then restart Windows.
Using WinRAR or PowerArchiver, extract the contents of wmp11.exe
Locate the update folder from the extraction from wmp11.exe and run update.exe inside the update folder.

Extract the downloaded Windows Media Player setup file (wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe) using WinRAR to a directory (wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu). Now make sure you have a “LegitLibM.dll” file in the extracted “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” folder.
Download the patched LegitLibM.dll and then copy-paste it to the “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” folder and click yes when asked to overwrite.
Now run “setup_wm.exe” file in the “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” folder.

finally wmp11 half installed in system and can not uninstall or reinstall either,

I was keep trying by my self to recover and install WMP11, finaly this method work out.
the above process can be workout sometime, if its happend, let me know, ill give the other process with registry edit
to extract the appropriate files throughout all
the steps. works to a certain extent because right now i don't have the same error message
cropping up when i try to open the wmp11 software
except that: MICROSOFT WINDOWS STILL WANT TO
VALIDATE THAT THE COPY OF WINDOW SOFTWARE IS
LEGIT. Can't seem to get around that bypass, thanks anyway it's a good solution but not entire.

Go to Registry Editor,
And Search "WMP11"
And Delete everything u find, but u take a whole registry back up first.
after that follow the way, i have mentioned.
