    installation was ok.
    but when i tried to run the browser,it's window shows up for a split second and then it's gone.it's like the application doesn't want to run,or is being self-terminated....any clue?

    Who’s the prick that fucken insists we use firefox to get the fucken internet explorer 7? If I wanted fucken firefox i wouldn’t need explorer 7. What a prick trying to make me download his crappy program just so I can get an update. Well just wanted to say fuck you prick

    What the hell??? I fully agree with the post above. I used firefox and I am also a Linux user but in Windows platform I am more comfortable with IE. Why you insist we use firefox? If firefox has the potential, people will use it themselves. Your behavior gives your own frailty that firefox is somehow inferior to IE. Get a life and be a little mature; such tactics can never help open source community.

    Please be advised that I am a bit of novice when it comes to things like this.

    I followed your instructions as above, however when i restarted my computer and the desktop began to load I got a message which said something alongs the line of Explorer.exe could not load

    When i downloaded the patch there was two files in the zip file iecustom.dll and some other file, which to be honest I cannot recall, im sure it was another dll file. I am having to use my work computer to post this as I cannot do anything with my home computer, and therefore dont have the name of the file.

    After following your instructions I left the 2nd file on the desktop. restarted the computer logged into profile and when I did the wallpaper loaded but nothing else and then the explorer.exe could not load (due to the 2nd file being missing). I know this is really vague but bear with me.

    I restarted the computer in safe mode to see if I could delete the files or restore the computer but I get the same error message, also restarted the computer to last known good configuration but again I got the same message.

    I am therefore trying to use the restore point function but have no idea how i can do that without going through the desktop.

    Can anyone help me please????? dont want to have reinstall everything on the computer, any suggestions are most welcome

    pls uninstalled your installed ie7 first. Then follow instruction over here:

    note that cracking method is not exactly same for ie7 beta 3 and ie7 final.

    extract your download,you will get a folder named wmp11-widowsxp-x86-eun. open your extracted folder and look for a file with the name wmfdist11(open)and instal.after the instalation is done,dont restart!go back to your folder and (open)wmp11.after the instalation is done.go to start on the bottom tool bar,look for your media player and click. you will be there.

    FireFox is better ??? I dont think so ! IE version 7 is good. I like this, because all webdesigned good run on IE all version...
